Classical Guitar

Students will be learning fingerstyle techniques on the classical (nylon strings) guitar. Through this course you will be playing a variety of pieces that are from the classical, romantic, baroque, renaissance music periods, as well as modern songs written in those styles. Spanish music and flamenco technique elements will be included in your study. This course offers a great foundation for any other guitar styles and a solid music theory background. Students interested in following the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) program would be preparing for their exams.
